Secret 7” was founded by Kevin King and Jordan Stokes in 2012. Since then, it has made a huge cultural and charitable impact. It has produced and sold over 4200 one-of-a-kind records, raising over £215,000 for great causes. This year they pressed 100x copies of the following tracks to 7” -

Every single one of them has had unique artwork created for it.

Amongst the 700 unique records are artworks from Lubaina Himid, Anish Kapoor, Tacita Dean, Mark Wallinger, Shona Heath, The Connor Brothers, Helen Beard, Jeremy Deller, Lotte Andersen, Stanley Donwood, Jadé Fadojutimi, Ragnar Kjartansson, Maya Hayuk, Gavin Turk, Unskilled Worker, Michel Gondry. Alongside those we invite are the teams selection from a worldwide open submission.

Of the 700 covers around 250 are handmade…In amongst the superstar works is the letterpress cover that I created and handprinted. Like all the others it is a one off and can be bid for in the auction. I made the work way back at the start of this year when life was simpler…I did however manage to make a cover that seems to reflect the current virus rather boldly!!
