Cambridge Open Studios is a thriving community of around 500 artists, craftspeople, and designer-makers working throughout Cambridgeshire.
It’s time for the annual Cambridge Open Studios event. I love explaining the process behind my letterpress based work and offering the chance to print a little keepsake my vintage printing presses. Making art can be a solitary pursuit which makes Open Studios a really lovely way for people to connect with and support the local creative community. I’m looking forward to the inspirational conversations and happy encounters that this event always provides in abundance.
Cambridge Open Studios is a thriving community of around 500 artists, craftspeople, and designer-makers working throughout Cambridgeshire It’s a splendid way to meet artists and see their work in relaxed informal settings. You could plan a few visits around a nice pub lunch or afternoon tea in a local cafe, there are artists in central Cambridge and sprinkled around the villages, with art trails available on the website. There really is something for everyone. Who knows you might find the perfect piece of art for yourselves or for a gift, or maybe a few cards to send on special occasions.
I will be open from 10am until 5pm on weekend Two (8/9th July) and weekend three (15/16th July)
