This artists book is a personal reflection on living with Addison's Disease its ongoing symptoms and sudden dangerous acute incidences which are called a ‘crisis’. The images use different media to lead the audience towards a position of new understanding. Voice is given to the imagery with the italic first person account of this very rare medical emergency. I made an edition of two, one of which was accepted for the University of Kent symposium "Artists Books and the Medical Humanities" and accompanying exhibition ‘Prescriptions’ at The Beaney Museum of Art and Knowledge. This copy is now held by the University of Kent artist books collection.
